2009 Como Mod Series schedule released with enhanced payouts

The Como Modified Series, a regional dirt racing modified touring series held in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin and sponsored by Duluth, MN, based Como Oil and Propane has announced the 2009 series schedule for the eight-race touring open wheel high flyers.

The Como Mod Series will continue to frequent the four tracks that have become a staple on the series schedule every year in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Additional details will be released soon regarding an enhanced payout on the June 19th and 20th dates in Hibbing, MN in addition to an increased series purse for the 2009 season!

Sunday May 24th – Proctor Speedway – Proctor, MN
Friday & Saturday June 19th & 20th Hibbing Raceway – Hibbing, MN (No Mods at Ashland)**
Tuesday July 21st – Superior Speedway – Superior, WI
Saturday August 1st – ABC Raceway – Ashland, WI (No Mods at Hibbing)
Thursday September 3rd – Proctor Speedway – Proctor, MN (Silver 1000)
Saturday September 5th – Hibbing Raceway – Hibbing, MN (Labor Day Shootout)
Saturday September 12th – Superior Speedway – Superior, WI (Northern Nationals)
Friday & Saturday October 2nd and 3rd (Red Clay Classic) – ABC Raceway – Ashland, WI
