Thatcher wins the Shootout, Estey takes point lead into Superior

Craig Thatcher of Knapp, WI won his 2nd feature of the 2009 season with the Como Modified Series at the Labor Day Shootout in Hibbing, MN on September 5, 2009. The win not only secured a big check but also third place in the point standings, just a mere 9 points out of the lead. Kelly Estey grabbed the point lead coming out of Hibbing with a 4th Place run. Prior points leader Darrell Nelson finished the 16th after transferring through a B Main.
